Do you have old jewellery that’s quality but not something you wear, and would like it made into something new to suit your own taste?

Here’s something I made for a client, after discussing the possibilities with their existing pieces and what design they wanted.

First I took their old pieces.

 

Here’s the gold melted down.

 

And the diamonds removed for reuse.

 

Next, the gold was reshaped into the client’s chosen design for a ring.

 

And new settings were made for the diamonds.

The settings were then soldered to the ring.

 

The ring and settings ring were then cleaned, ready for the diamonds to be set in.

 

And finally the diamonds were added and the ring was polished, ready to be worn.
